tiRelated to the program of increasing and developing knowledge that has been decided, Industrial Engineering (TI) Department of Indonesian Islamic University (UII), Sleman, Yogyakarta visited TI Department of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawijaya (FT-UB) on Friday, September 8, 2017.

This visit is intended to share knowledge about laboratory management. To support that purpose, TI UII brings together 49 people consisting of 8 lecturers, 4 laboratory staff, and 37 student laboratory assistants.

The Head of Laboratory who participated in this visit are Head of Innovation and Organizational Development Nasrullah Setiawan MSc, Head of Design System and Ergonomics Laboratory Amarria Dila Sari MSc, Head of Manufacturing System Laboratory Muchamad Sugarindra MTI, and Head of Industrial Modeling & Simulation Laboratory Annisa Uswatun Hasanah MBA.

ti“We are here to bring along a team of laboratory assistants for study comparative study. Hopefully, it can increase our knowledge,” said Nasrullah Setiawan.

The arrival of UII group was welcomed by The Head of TI Department, Ishardita Pambudi Tama Ph.D., Secretary of the Department Arif Rahman MT, and all Head of Laboratory in TI UB environment. They are Head of Labor & Ergonomics Laboratory Sugiono Ph.D., Head of Manufacturing Systems Laboratory Oyong Novareza Ph.D., Head of Industrial Computer Laboratory Ratih Ardia Sari MT, Head of Industrial Simulation & Application Laboratory Rahmi Yuniarti MT, and Head of Industrial Management Studio Laboratory Agustina Eunike MBA.

“As a much younger department, maybe there are some experiences that can be shared and learned from Industrial Engineering UII,” said Ishardita Ph.D. in his speech.

tiIshardita Ph.D. as the Head of Department then continued with the introduction to Industrial Engineering UB profile from history, mission vision, organizational structure, achievement, infrastructure, and student profile. Then the UII group was divided into several groups for discussion and comparative study in each laboratory. (and/mic)
