The series of Freshmen (Maba) Development Program (Probin) Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FT-UB) officially ended with the closing of the 39th Student Work Camp (KKM), Wednesday (15/Feb/2017). Although the weather was unfavorable, beside the building of the concrete road, the whole project and devotion that had been planned by the committee already done on schedule.
“It’s raining for several days, so we were only able to complete 45 meters from 60 meters concrete road targeted, the committee and resident will continue it later on. But alhamdulillah for the rehabilitation of 200 meters drainage channels. the installation of street lighting in 16 points, plants nursery as much as 300 pieces, socialization and installation of biopores in several points in residents house have been done according to schedule,” said chief executive of the KKM from the student element, Muhammad Ramadan Harun in his report for the closing ceremony KKM XXXIX in Tajinan on Wednesday, February 15, 2015.
Vice Dean for Student Affairs FT-UB, Dr. Slamet Wahyudi, ST., MT as the Chairman of the Committee for this Community Service is unceasingly giving thanks for the success of the event which has become the tradition of FT-UB.
“Alhamdulillah, only with Allah blessing the Implementation of 39th KKM which was held on 12-15 February 2017 in the Gunung Ronggo Village, Tajinan District of Malang went very well and made us proud, with this prejudices about KKM circulating in the community can be removed. Hopefully, our devotion will take us successful in this world and the hereafter,” said Dr Slamet when closing KKM XXXIX.
Also attending the ceremony that morning, representatives of Tajinan Head, Head of Gunung Ronggo Village, FT-UB Head of Administration Affairs, Endang Susiloningsih S.Sos., MAB, Head of Student Affairs, Suryawan S.Sos, along with the entire staff, Dzaki Falakhi, The Coordinator of FT-UB Student Executive Body 2016/2017 and his staff.
Dr. Slamet and the committee also expressed their pride to the freshmen of 2016 who was already successfully undergone devotion well and ready to learn and act as Engineering student. “We are waiting for your contribution to FT!” concludes Dr. Slamet. (mic)
