At TI-UB, the 3 in 1 program is offered through Quality Management courses in Odd Semester Academic Year 2018-2019. This class is attended by 20 students.

To run the 3 in 1 program, TI-UB cooperates with foreign lecturers Assc. Prof. Dr. Effendi bin Mohammad from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Melaka (UTEM) and industrial practitioner Sukri Mubarok from PT. Beiersdorf Indonesia.

For information, Assc. Prof. Dr. Effendi bin Mohammad is the Head of the Manufacturing Management Department at UTEM. Effendi also has experience working at Malaysian car company Perodua and Japanese information technology company NEC.

Harry Fadli, one of the course participants, admitted that he enjoyed the 3 in 1 program. Harry and his friends enthusiastically participated in this class. According to the Statistics & Quality Engineering (SRK) laboratory assistant, participants motivated to attend the course on time and were very enthusiastic in class.

“The class is good. The lecturers provide real case studies in the industrial world. In our class we can also improve English speaking skills,” he said after attending the 4th meeting of Quality Management course, Friday, September 7, 2018.

Harry added, apart from lecturers, theories can be obtained from books, journals, and so on. But for students, experience is difficult to obtain. Harry also hopes that classes like this can be held longer.

IMG_0971(1)Chairperson of the 3in1 Program, Dr. Eng. Oke Oktavianty, S.Si., MT admitted that there were many students who registered to join in the 3 in 1 class. However, the available quota was very limited.

“For those who can not join the class, please don’t be discouraged. Maybe later when the 3 in 1 class is held again, hopefully, the other students can experience the same experience,” said this Yamaguchi University alumni lecturer. (and/mic)
