Vice Dean for Student Affairs is present to open and supervise the Training of Trainer (ToT) Introduction to Campus Life (PK2) 2017.

Approximately 200 Student Committees across UB Faculty of Engineering are collected to follow TOT PK2 at Prof. Ir. Suryono Auditorium on Tuesday (8/Ags/2017). They are the ones who will later work with the Faculty to assist the freshmen coaching program. It is important that all the committees involved are gathered to unify the vision and also provided direction for the implementation of PK2 which will be held on 18-20 August 2017 later.

“BEM (Student Executive Board) and Institutions in the Department is an extension of Vice Dean for Student Affairs, so we must on the same term and agree on the same goal,” Dr Slamet added.

tot1Still carrying the principle from previous years, Dr. Slamet stressed that PK2 should be a place where new students should be motivated to excel. There are three indicators used for PK2 success; the rise in the achievements on the field of reasoning, interest & talent, and entrepreneurship. Later on PK2 activities will be continued with at least 8 activities of Krida in each Department for 6 months ahead. It is hoped that with right understanding, the freshmen can study well and can create more achievements.

Training of trainer activities held by the Student Affairs unit presented lecturers who also a campus activists competent in their fields, they are Ir. Unggul Wibawa MSc and DrEng Tri Budi Prayoyo ST MT.

tot2The material provided are Material related to Organization & Student Material of FT-UB; Introduction of Cultural Values, Diversity, and Scientific Ethics; Morality of Togetherness and Nationalism; As well as the Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence. The one day event then was closed with monitoring and evaluation from Student Executive Board of FT-UB.
