Faculty of Engineering Alumni Included in 30 Influential Young Leaders by Forbes Indonesia
Forbes Indonesia released a list of 30 influential young figures who will be nominated in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. On that list, listed the name of Audy Christopher Herli. Audy is a 2009 FTUB Industrial Engineering alumni and also a co-founder of Riliv.
Together with co-founder Audrey Maximilian Herli, both of them founded Riliv, a Surabaya-based start-up company focused on mental health. Riliv is an online meditation and counseling application with psychologists who support the mental health lifestyle of its users.
Being listed in the 30 Under 30 Forbes Indonesia and being nominated in the 30 Under 30 Forbes Asia means having significant influence and achievements in the field. The achievements and influence of Audy and Maxi are inseparable from the hard work and dedication at Riliv.
Mental health is an aspect of human life that deserves more attention. According to statistics, approximately 14 million Indonesians are depressed. Meanwhile, the number of psychologists in Indonesia is still lacking. Not to mention, the stigma of Indonesian society around psychiatry often makes people feel reluctant and even taboo to go to a psychologist, even though they need it.
“We want to inspire people about the importance of mental health, that’s our background to establish Riliv,” Maxi said.
“We want to help people who have problems but cannot express them. To achieve this, synergy with Forbes is very meaningful and is a big step,” added the son of Anik Heerawati SH and Herliyono SH.
As the first online counseling and meditation application in Indonesia, Riliv has embraced more than 150,000 customers. Last year, Riliv received a special award in the 2019 Best Unique Application category from Google Playstore.
In addition, Riliv was also awarded an award as Best Sustainable Startup by Koran Tempo in 2017, also the top winner of the Google Android Best Impactful Startup #SatuMulai category in 2015.
In addition to receiving various awards, Riliv cooperates with various parties. One of them is Visinema Pictures, the home of the film production Later We Tell About Today (NKCTHI). Riliv also collaborated with Airlangga University to increase student awareness about mental health.
