On May 20, 2022, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) held a signing procession for the cooperation between FTUB and PT. Go-Jek Indonesia.

Attending in the 3rd-floor Meeting Room, the Dean of FTUB, Prof Ir Hadi Suyono ST MT PhD along with the ranks of The Vices Dean and Heads of Departments in the FTUB environment. From Gojek’s side, present to sign this MoU was Andriansyah Nur as Regional Head of Analytics Gojek.

“One of FTUB’s visions is to become an Innovative Engineering Faculty, we are motivated to cooperate with GOJEK as an example of the leading digital innovation business in Indonesia and we are ready to prepare the best students for this collaboration,” said the Dean in his speech.

Andri warmly welcomes this collaboration. As one of Indonesia’s largest digital businesses, Gojek hopes to produce good things with one of the Largest Universities in Indonesia.

“GOJEK’s spirit is Growth Mindset, become a scientist, and I believe this aligns very well with UB,” Andri said.

In Malang, this is the first collaboration with academics. Previously, Gojek had collaborated with FTUB and activities with Industrial Engineering.

“With this MoU, we hope to be able to move more widely and with the MBKM program we can prepare Tallent Ready from FTUB for industries out there,” said Andri.

Apart from education, collaboration, and case on case studies, FTUB will also expand cooperation related to training. On the second floor of Industrial Engineering, there is a Research Center and Innovation Room, which is an office corner for students or lecturers to discuss with Gojek.
