Following up on the collaboration initiation on March 23, 2022, the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) signed a collaboration with PT PLN (Persero).

Through the signing of cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service, both parties are committed to improving the quality of human resources as one of the main pillars in encouraging the progress of the nation and state.

“In the future, there will be many opportunities for synergies to collaborate in various matters in the electricity sector, from education and training to operational, for example, PLTS which is currently the choice of the energy transition sector in the G20 as future green energy,” said General Manager of PLN UID East Java, Lasiran.

Not only that, Lasiran also asked for support from Brawijaya University academics to take part in increasing the use of electric vehicles and electrifying lifestyles in daily life.

The Dean of FTUB, Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., expressed his readiness to get knowledge sharing in various fields, especially electricity.

“So far, we have collaborated in various fields such as civil, architecture, and electrical engineering. Of course, we are very open to collaboration, research, and other collaborations that can develop skills and academic knowledge at Universitas Brawijaya and can also contribute to the development of technology that supports the use of clean energy,” he explained.
