The Student Executive Board (BEM), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijya (FTUB) will hold a Village Service Engineering Program (ARTEBASA) 2022 in Perinci Hamlet, Gading Kulon Village, Dau District, Malang Regency, East Java.

This community service activity is packaged in three activities for three days, 21-23 July 2022. This 2020/2021 student service consists of the Village Project, Humanitarian Project, and Teaching in Schools.

In village project activities, the entire committee works with residents to install house numbers and clean the village. The purpose of this village service is to help the people of Dusun Perrinci in beautifying, cleaning, and repairing the infrastructure of the village which the committee might fix.

On the second day, the Humanitarian Project was divided into two activities, youth seminars, and Medical Check Up. For the youth seminar participants, 15 teenagers from Princi Hamlet participated, while the medical check-up was attended by all Princi Hamlet residents.

“In collaboration with local youth organizations, we raised the theme of the Anti-Drug Abuse Movement for a youth seminar. As for the Medical Checkup, we coordinate with the Dau Health Center,” said Muhammad Fadhel Raflitio as the Chief Executive.

Both of these activities were carried out at the Perrinci Hamlet Office. Participants who attended on the second day were also given basic necessities gifts.

On the third day, teaching activities in schools were packaged in Forest Schools. Twenty-five elementary school students are taught skills, arts, and ethics at Kebun Rojo Camp.

There are two skill activities that are taught, namely making pencil cases from used plastic bottles and making beaded bracelets. At the end of the activity, each participant received a goodybag containing stationery.
