A delegation from the Faculty of Engineering (FT), Udayana University (UNUD), made a working visit and mentoring of PS S1 Mechanical Engineering students for the Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) today, September 7, 2022, in the Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the FTUB Dean Building.

The visit was led directly by the Dean of FT UNUD, Ir. I Ketut Sudasarna, ST., Ph.D and was greeted directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, ST., MT., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., along with the Vice Dean, Head of the Curriculum Development Agency (BPK), Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Head of Study Program S1 Mechanical Engineering, Head of Academic Subdivision, MBKM Field Coordinator, and The Expert Staff of Vice Dean of Academic Affairs.

Starting his speech, Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D., said that this visit, besides strengthening friendship, also brought five undergraduate students of the Mechanical Engineering PKKM who will study at FTUB.

“Thank you for the very good welcome and reception this afternoon, allow us to be able to entrust our students to be guided and gain knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UB. Hopefully, the friendship between the two Faculty of Engineering will be closer, and we hope that it will also be continued with a more detailed MoU signing stage in the not too distant future,” said the Dean of FT UNUD.

On the next occasion, Prof. Hadi gave directions to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and the Head of the Department to prepare all administrative and academic completeness for students from FT UNUD in order to get the best study results.

“Please guide and assist students from FT UNUD this semester in accordance with the applicable SOP. Facilitate the adaptation process, both the culture of lectures and the environment, always monitor them during their study in Mechanical Engineering, so that you get good knowledge transfer and achieve optimal assessments at the end of this semester,” hoped the FTUB Dean who is also the General Chair of FORTEI.

While waiting for the process of getting the NIM, the manager of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program has moved quickly in preparing students from FT UNUD to immediately attend lectures with the Constitutional Court who is guided by an offline presence policy, and also provides assistance aimed at making students more adaptable, communicative, enthusiastic, and diligent during college.

During this visit, discussion sessions in the fields of education, research, and community service were also held and continued with the delivery of souvenirs and group photos.
