Monday, 27 February 2023, the Welcoming Meeting Student Mobility Program (SMP) has taken place from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka – UTeM to Universitas Brawijaya, especially in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB).

Dr. Nuzaimah Mustafa and Dr. Khairum Hamzah from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Technology (FTKMP) brought 12 students to this program.

The UTeM delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr.Eng. Ir. Indradi Wijatmiko, S.T., M.Eng (Prac), representative of the International Relations Office (IRO) FTUB, Dr.Techn. Ir. Yusfan A Yusran, ASEAN Eng., and all staff from the Industrial Engineering Department led by the Head of the Department, Ir. Sugiono, ST., MT., Ph.D.

Activities will be held from 20 February – 3 March 2023. The program will be implemented online (20-25 Feb 2023) and offline (27 Feb – 3 Mar 2023).

While in Malang, apart from gaining knowledge in class, these UTeM students will also be introduced to Indonesian traditional arts, be it music or batik.

These twelve students will also be invited to a field trip to Agro Industry, Bumiaji, Batu. Hopefully, this collaboration program will provide various goodness and benefits for both institutions.
