Engineering Cadre Training (PKT) 2024 Officially Closed

The Engineering Cadre Training (PKT) 2024, held over three days from June 24 to 26, 2024, at Coban Rondo, was officially closed by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Student Entrepreneurship, Dr.Eng. Ir. Herry Santosa, S.T., M.T., IPM.

Candra Nova, the head of PKT 2024, reported that the event was attended by 82 active participants out of the 93 registered. Eight participants from the Urban and Regional Planning Department had to leave early for a studio presentation, and two others fell ill but have since received care and returned to their dorms.

Despite the extended rain that forced the cancellation of some game activities, the training proceeded smoothly. All participants remained healthy and enthusiastic until the closing ceremony.

Dr Herry SantosaDr. Herry Santosa expressed his high appreciation for all PKT 2024 participants.

“I greatly appreciate your sacrifice and dedication. Remember, PKT is an annual activity crucial for knowledge transfer,” he said.

He also emphasized that PKT participants are being prepared to become a generation with strong leadership and managerial skills.

“Learn, develop, and solidify your abilities to lead future coordination. Improve existing achievements and strive for the best,” he added.

Dr. Herry further stressed the importance of maintaining alumni connections. He advised participants never to break ties with their alma mater.

“Foster relationships among fellow alumni. Solidarity is important not only during your time as students but also when you enter society,” he concluded.

The closing ceremony marked the end of the PKT 2024 series of activities, which successfully equipped participants with valuable knowledge and experiences, ready to face future challenges.
