Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) in collaboration with PT PLN (Persero) mainly for the Merdeka Belajar KAmpus Merdeka (MBKM) on March 23, 2022.

Located in the Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the FTUB Building, two representatives of PT PLN; Dudung Irawan (Senior Specialist of Product and Services) and Abdul Haris (Project Team Leader and Electrical Engineer) were welcomed directly by the Dean of the FTUB, Prof. Ir Hadi Suyono ST MT PhD IPU ASEAN Eng., along with the ranks of Vice Deans and Department Leaders.

“This collaboration needs to be legalized through an MoU to support IKU and QPI,” said the Dean.

There are eight MBKM program paths that can be explored and equated in the form of cooperation that can benefit both parties.

“This MoU should not only be used as an ‘inscription’ but there are real activities. Please explore what FT needs first, we will evaluate and check the availability at PLN, then follow up through UB,” said Dudung.

The MoU is general in nature where the activities are written in general, the details will be revealed in the form of a Cooperation Agreement. Dudung also emphasized that he would coordinate with the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Muhammad Aziz Muslim, ST., MT., Ph.D., and internally PT PLN.

“Later we will form a special team to monitor the execution of this MoU,” Dudung concluded.
