On Monday, July 25, 2022 representing the Rector of Université Laval, Assoc. Prof. Hendra Hermawan, Ph.D., visited the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB).

Located in the 3rd-floor Meeting Room of the FTUB Building, Prof. Hendra was welcomed by all faculty leaders and department representatives within the Faculty of Engineering, especially the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof Hendra has personally worked with Mechanical Engineering for two years. His arrival at this time is to legalize the cooperation that has been established so far.

“The cooperation document has been signed by our Rector, and today UB Rector (Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc., ed.) has also signed the MoU,” said Prof. . Hendra.

The Dean of FTUB, Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, S.T., M.T., IPU., ASEAN Eng., in his remarks warmly welcomed the signing.

“Hopefully, with the legalization of this good cooperation, it will be able to expand the field of cooperation not only FT but also UB and Université Laval,” said the Dean.

This cooperation agreement covers all programs that are of mutual interest to both institutions. Cooperation that may be carried out by the two parties, among others; staff/lecturer exchanges, student exchanges, joint research, participation in seminars, and other activities considered by parties to be benefit to each party’s education and
research programs.
