One part of the 2023 UB MBKM Program is the Prakstisi Mengajar Program. In this program, courses are designed and managed in collaboration between Lecturers and Practitioners.

Through this program, students can obtain holistic learning that connects theory with field practice in order to master competencies as a whole.

The aim of this program is to improve the quality of university graduates and reduce the potential for educated unemployment among university graduates.

Apart from that, this program provides a more dynamic, competitive, collaborative, and participatory learning experience to gain better knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as improve student competencies in accordance with the needs of the world of work.

This year, the Project Evaluation Engineering (TEP) Subject (MK) in the Department of Electrical Engineering is one of the objects in the 2023 Universitas Brawijaya Praktisi Mengajar Program. Two lecturers who teach TEP are Ir. Unggul Wibawa, M.Sc, IPU and Dr. Muhammad Fauzan Edy Purnomo, S.T., M.T.

They collaborated with a practitioner, Muhammad Arok, S.T., Founder and Director of PT. Alpha Energi Indonesia, based in Jakarta, has experience working on multinational projects.

Broadly speaking, two activities are carried out: Praktisi Mengajar Program and OBE-based Semester Learning Plan (RPS) Update Workshops. Praktisi Mengajar Program activities were carried out over six meetings.

Four times in face-to-face via Zoom meetings and two times in the form of asynchronous lectures. Based on an agreement with all parties, activities are held every Friday and Saturday, 29-30 September, 06-07 October, and 13-14 October 2023, between 13.00-15.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the Workshop on Changes to the RPS MK, TEP was held on Tuesday, 17 October 2023, at 08.00-11.00 WIB via Zoom.

“From this workshop, we obtained several updates related to RPS MK TEP in the Department of Electrical Engineering FT-UB,” said Unggul.
