Training of Trainers Project 3-in-1 RE Hybrid Generation HRC 2019

An increase in the international recognition of the study group can be obtained if the research results reach the international level. This can be achieved by improving the quality of the results of research conducted.

Improving the quality of research results can be achieved with the support of the availability of adequate laboratory facilities. If you only rely on laboratory facilities that exist internally at Universitas Brawijaya, the research results will be still not adequate.

The utilization of laboratory facilities owned by partner institutions through research collaboration can be an alternative solution. Research results can also be improved if research ideas can be obtained that can answer community problems.

This can be triggered by increasing the insight into researching its members through sharing ideas and research experiences with researchers and other research groups, both at home and abroad.

For this reason, in the context of implementing the program activities in 2019, the Study Group on Power System Engineering and Energy Management has carried out the Training of Trainers (ToT) Project 3-in-1 Renewable Energy Hybrid Generation HRC 2019 on August 24, 2019, at Room 1.5 Building A Department of Electrical Engineering Universitas Brawijaya.

The Training of Trainers (ToT) Project 3-in-1 Renewable Energy Hybrid Generation HRC 2019 was carried out in the form of Knowledge Transfer related to the 3-in-1 (Hydro-Solar-Wind) Renewable Energy Generation Demonstration Project.

This was carried out to follow up the establishment of the Joint Research Center for Rural Electrification Technology Based on Hydropower between the Hangzhou Regional Center (Asia-Pacific) for Small Hydro Power – The People’s Republic of China Universitas Brawijaya.

This activity aims to increase the insight of researching members of the PSeemRG researchers, especially young members, in this case, students who have interests and interests in fields that are under the fields of activity of the Research Group.

This activity is intended to be a forum for Electrical Engineering students to add insight into the energy field, as well as a forum for exchanging ideas and discussions from various points of view in generating ideas and strategies for optimizing the development of new and renewable energy.

Acting as resource person in this activity is Mr. Chen Ting, Electrical Engineer (HRC-SHP), and Mr. Du Jiang, Mechanical Engineer (HRC-SHP), both engineers from HRC, China.

This activity is also expected to be useful for broadening and sharpening international insight and research for research group members, as well as sharing ideas and best practices in related research themes, which will lead to strengthening international recognition, both research groups in general and member researchers more specifically, and directly or indirectly can be a medium to expand international cooperation networks.
