FTUB is Ready to Face the Nine Criteria Accreditation

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) is in charge of 9 departments and 19 Study programs continue to improve the institution so that it always meets the quality standards set by BAN-PT. This is intended to see the extent to which the implementation of the educational process at FTUB runs in accordance with standards set by the government.

But in 2019, BAN PT has set a new standard for the accreditation process, known as the Nine Criteria. In this new criterion, the work unit’s accreditation status will only be two; Accredited and Not Accredited. Accredited status is divided into three criteria: Good, Excellent, and Excellent.

In applying for BAN PT accreditation with Nine Criteria, FTUB as the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS) together with the study program is required to prepare an Accreditation Report, namely by filling in the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS), and preparing a Self Evaluation Report (LED).

Preparing to face the Accreditation process The FTUB Quality Assurance Cluster (GJM) held a Workshop on the Compilation of Accreditation Reports Based on the Nine Criteria of BAN PT for Study Programs in the FTUB Environment.

“We deliberately held this workshop as a venue for the socialization of the Nine Criteria as well as filling LKPS and the preparation of LEDs for the smooth implementation of the accreditation process of all study programs in the FTUB environment,” said The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Ir. Ishardita pambudi Tama, ST., MT., Ph.D.

This workshop as well as socialization was held on Wednesday, 20 November 2019 in the Meeting Room of the 3rd floor of the FTUB Building with guest speaker Prof. Dr. drh. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, DEA from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Airlangga University, Surabaya. (mic)
