Even though the pandemic is engulfing the country, the good relationship between the alumni of the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) remains. On October 22, 2020, the 1963-1971 FTUB Beginner Force came to symbolically hand over the 57th Anniversary gifts.

The symbolic handing over of gifts was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Pitojo Tri Juwono, MT., IPU., Dr. eng. Alwafi Pujiraharjo, ST. MT. as the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering FTUB.

In this event, the FTUB Beginners gave a gift in the form of a Beautiful Story Book while in College. This book is a storybook about how lectures were at the beginning of the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya.

In addition, the Beginner’s Force also provided additional gifts for the Civil Engineering Department library. The gift given is in the form of a cash donation for the reading room of Rp. 10,250,000.00.

The handover was carried out through Mr. Sidharta as the representative of the 1963 Class, 1964 Class represented by Prof. Suhardjono, and the Class of 1965 by Mr. M. Effendy, and Mr. Azis Hosein.

“Alhamdulillah, we appreciate this so much, hopefully, this gift given by the Beginner Forces of the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawijaya can make our library much better than before and be more useful for anyone who needs it,” said Ir. Alwafi represents the Department of Civil Engineering.
