Thursday (19/10/2023) MAN (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) Insan Cendekia Paser, East Kalimantan visited the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FT UB). This visit aims to broaden students’ horizons and motivate them to pursue higher education, especially at Universitas Brawijaya.

The visit began with an introduction from Susmini, S.Pd., M.Pd., as Deputy Head of Madrasah for Student Affairs, MAN Insan Cendekia Paser. She expressed his gratitude for being accepted and receiving a good welcome from the Faculty of Engineering. Apart from that, he also emphasized the importance of visits like this in opening students’ horizons and providing inspiration to achieve higher education at the best universities in Indonesia.

FT UB, represented by Fauzul Rizal Sutikno, ST., MT., Ph.D as expert staff of the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship. He delivered an introduction to the profile of the Faculty of Engineering and several departments under it, this aims to introduce FT UB more closely. to MAN Insan Cendekia Paser students.

MAN Insan Cendekia Paser students were also given the opportunity to tour and observe the laboratories in each department, and comfortable lecture rooms. They were also invited to interact with UB students who are also alumni of MAN Insan Cendekia Paser to provide insight into campus life and learning experiences at Universitas Brawijaya.

One of the peak moments of this visit was the question and answer session between MAN Insan Scholar students from Paser Regency and Fauzul Rizal Sutikno. Interesting questions regarding college entrance selection and career opportunities in the world of engineering are answered and explained in detail and interestingly so that students will be more interested in studying at Universitas Brawijaya, especially the Faculty of Engineering.
