Tuesday, November 7, 2023, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FT UB) received a visit from Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) Taiwan in the Leadership Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, FT UB Dean’s Building.

In this meeting, CYCU representatives expressed their good intentions to establish close cooperation with UB, especially in engineering and related sciences. One of the most interesting proposals is the offer of a double degree program that allows students from both universities to obtain a double degree, which will provide a valuable learning experience and increase their competitiveness in the world of work.

“We are confident that the collaboration between Chung Yuan Christian University and Brawijaya University can provide great benefits for both parties. We have a very strong and experienced engineering faculty, as well as modern facilities that can support these programs.” he said.

Dean of FT UB, Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, S.T., MT., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., welcomed the visit from CYCU and expressed interest in establishing a beneficial partnership. This visit ended with an exchange of souvenirs between the two institutions. The delegates from Chungyuan Christian University also visited several academic facilities in each department at the UB Faculty of Engineering.

This international collaboration is hoped to enrich the student learning experience and enable knowledge exchange between these two influential universities.[drn]
