FT UB Receives Visits Two Days in a Row from SMA Hang Tuah 5 Sidoarjo and Islamic Boarding School Husnul Khotimah Kuningan
The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FT UB) received visits for two consecutive days from students from Hang Tuah 5 High School Sidoarjo and students from the Husnul Khotimah Kuningan Islamic Boarding School on 22-23 November 2023. Their arrival was responded to enthusiastically and enthusiastically by the faculty starting from the lecturers and education staff involved.
These two schools were invited to get to know more closely the profile, facilities, and achievements of the UB Faculty of Engineering. They were allowed to hear explanations directly and see the latest equipment and facilities used in the learning process in various departments in the Faculty of Engineering. In an interactive atmosphere, representatives from FT UB explained in detail about campus life, starting from lectures, scholarship programs, and alumni. This provides valuable insight for students and santri, inspiring them to have a different perspective when continuing their studies at university.
Apart from that, there are also discussion and question and answer sessions by students or teachers with the faculty. This provides a unique opportunity for participants to ask questions about study programs, careers for engineering graduate students, and various other aspects that may be considered in choosing their study path in college.
One of the representatives from Hang Tuah 5 High School expressed his gratitude for the reception of the group from his school at Brawijaya University, especially the Faculty of Engineering. He expressed his hope that this visit could open insight and provide inspiration for students to pursue their desire to continue their education at university and pursue a career according to their dreams.
The visit from SMA Hang Tuah 5 Sidoarjo and Pondok Pesantren Husnul Khotimah Kuningan was considered a form of collaboration between the faculty and schools outside the city.
