FT UB for the Country is back by holding the Merdeka Innovation Workshop by inviting several university colleagues from East Java. This workshop activity was held on Friday (1/12/2023) in the Leadership Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, FT Deanery. Presenting Achmad Aditya, Ph.D as Co.Founder of Kedaireka.id & Merdeka Innovation Summit, apart from that, he also serves as Deputy Chancellor of UNU Yogyakarta and Chair of the Digital Innovation and Transformation Department.

FT UB initiated the Merdeka Innovation Workshop as a forum for academics and researchers from various universities in East Java to share knowledge and experience and increase the knowledge of each university in terms of education, research, and service.

Presenting Achmad Aditya, Ph.D as Co.Founder of Kedaireka.id & Merdeka Innovation Summit, he also serves as Deputy Chancellor of UNU Yogyakarta and Chair of the Digital Innovation and Transformation Department. On the one hand, the leadership of FT UB, starting from Vice Deans I, II, and III, also welcomed the group of representatives from fellow universities who attended and participated in the workshop activities until the end.

“This workshop facilitates the exchange of ideas and best practices in teaching at the tertiary level; apart from that, participants can broaden their horizons in the field of research, establish research partnerships, and formulate collaborative projects to support scientific development,” said Dr.Eng. Ir. Indradi Wijatmiko, S.T., M.Eng. (Prac).

This event involved a series of activities such as Achamad Aditya’s presentation and presentation regarding the Matching Fund as well as several educational innovations, discussions and question and answer sessions by each university, and the presentation of souvenirs by Ir. Ismu Rini Dwi Ari, M.T., Ph.D. (ViceDean for General Affairs, Finance and HR) to Achamad Aditya.

It is hoped that FT UB for this country can be a catalyst for improving the quality of higher education. Collaboration between universities is expected to create a more productive learning atmosphere and support the development of superior human resources in various fields.[drn]
