The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FT UB) announced the holding of Safari Ramadhan 1445 Hijriah activities at the Al-Hadiid Mosque. This activity aims to strengthen ties between the academic community and increase togetherness in carrying out worship in the holy month of Ramadhan this year.

The series of Safari Ramadhan activities will include tausiyah which will be filled by ustadz from FT UB before breaking the fast, breaking the fast together, and tarawih prayers. This event is scheduled to take place from March 14-29, 2024. In each tausiyah session, competent ustadz from FT UB will be present to give inspiring and in-depth lectures.

“This year’s Safari Ramadhan activity at the Al Hadiid FT UB mosque carries the theme Songsong Ramadhan which is full of Blessings and Glory (SORBAN). This activity consists of 5 sub-activities, consisting of Study before breaking the fast as well as breaking the fast together, Tarawih Prayers and Tausyiah, Orphan Compensation, and Student Competitions. We hope that this activity can be used as a trigger to increase our faith and devotion to Allah SWT,” explained Dr.techn. Khairul Anam, ST., M.Sc. as chairman of the activities committee.

Breaking the fast together will also be a momentum to strengthen relationships between people. Breaking the fast together is the right time to gather, share happiness, and increase the sense of brotherhood among fellow Muslims who observe it.Meanwhile, tarawih prayers will be the peak of every day’s activities. By participating in tarawih prayers together at the Al-Hadiid Mosque, it is hoped that it can strengthen the faith and piety of all participants.

This Safari Ramadhan event is also expected to be able to provide motivation and inspiration for the entire FT UB academic community in carrying out the Ramadan worship with full solemnity and blessings.
