FTKK Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Visit FTUB

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) received a working visit from the Faculty of Ocean Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (FTKK UMT) on Tuesday, 27 February 2024 in the Seminar Room, Building B, Department of Electrical Engineering, FTUB.

Vice Dean for Academics and Students FTKK UMT Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salisa Abdul Rahman said that this working visit aims to discuss opportunities for future cooperation in research, publications, and student and lecturer exchange programs in several related fields that have potential for both parties.

“We also hope that there will be more collaborations, not just in the academic and research sphere, but perhaps also in the student affairs. If possible, we can also discuss opportunities for collaboration in future academic programs for master’s and doctoral program students,” said this Electrical and Electronic Engineering lecturer.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salisa Abdul Rahman accompanied by Prof. Dr. Che Mohd Ruzaidi Ghazali, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sofiah Hamzah, and Dr. Zulkifli Mohd Yusop.

The FTKK UMT delegation was received by the Dean of FTUB Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, ST., MT., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., along with Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship, Chair of the Civil Engineering Department, Secretary of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Chair of the Engineering Department Electrical, IRO personnel, and expert staff of the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs.

“We are very grateful for the visit that has been given. Of course, we want the activities that have been initiated to be implemented more intensively,” he said.

The expert in the Power Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence hopes that the profile presentation and potential that can be collaborated between the two parties can be followed up with technical implementation at the department level.

The activity closed with signing a cooperation agreement, a group photo session, and an exchange of souvenirs.
