Halal Bihalal Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H Big Family of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya

In an atmosphere full of joy welcoming the Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FT UB) held a Halal Bihalal event which was attended by the entire academic community, starting from leaders, lecturers, education staff, and several retirees, on Wednesday (17/ 4/2024). The event was held at the Prof. Auditorium. Ir. Suryono Dean’s Building, 2nd Floor, was also attended by a number of invited guests, including Ustad Dr. Agus Ali Fauzi as a lecturer, as well as a performance from the Zanzibar Band to entertain the audience.

Dean of FT UB, Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., in his speech conveyed Eid al-Fitr greetings to all those present, and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to gather together in this blessed moment.

“Through this Halal Bihalal event, we hope to strengthen the relationship between all FT UB members and increase togetherness and closeness between us,” said Prof. Hadi.

He also added that in the future FT UB is also targeting 4 (four) study programs that will apply for international accreditation and of course this requires good cooperation and collaboration within the FT UB academic community. By holding this halal bihalal it is hoped that it will foster a spirit of togetherness and cohesiveness for explore future activities on campus.

On the next occasion, Ustad Dr. Agus Ali Fauzi gave a tausiyah that raised the theme of the importance of maintaining friendship in the framework of celebrating Eid al-Fitr. He also emphasized the importance of mutual forgiveness in strengthening ties between fellow Muslims.

Apart from that, the performance of the Zanzibar Band also enlivened the event by performing several religious songs full of Islamic meaning, which made the Halal Bihalal atmosphere even more festive and full of blessings.

It is hoped that the Halal Bihalal Idul Fitri 1445 H event will be a momentum to strengthen ties and increase togetherness among all FT UB members. Hopefully the togetherness and brotherhood that exists can bring blessings and success to FT UB and the entire community on campus.[drn]
