Benchmarking of the ZI Team, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung

Tim ZI FTUBThe Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) received a benchmarking visit from the Integrity Zone (ZI) Team of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. This activity was held in the 3rd-floor Meeting Room of the FTUB building.

The benchmarking focused on excellent service and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The FST delegation was welcomed by the Head of the FTUB ZI, who is also the Vice Dean for General Affairs, Finance, and Resources, Ir. Ismu Rini Dwi Ari, M.T., Ph.D.

Furthermore, attending the event were the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Student Entrepreneurship, Dr. Eng. Ir. Herry Santosa, S.T., M.T., IPM., the Head of the Quality Assurance Group, Dr. Eng. Evi Nur Cahya, S.T., M.T., and all Area Managers of the FTUB Integrity Zone Team.

Tim ZI FST UIN Sunan Gunung Djati BandungOn the other hand, the ZI Team from FST UIN Sunan Gunung Djati consisted of Dr. Elis Ratna Wulan, M.T., Dr. Aep Saepuloh, M.Si., Nanang Ismail, M.T., Riska Puspita Sari, M.Si., Siska Tridesianti, M.Si., and Rifqi Syamsul Fuadi, S.T., M.Kom.

“The Dean has assigned us to have benchmarking to FTUB. One of the fundamental aspects is how we deliver excellent service to our stakeholders, especially the students. The common thread is excellent service. We want to hear how it is implemented at FT,” said Dr. Elis representing the group.

Responding directly, Ir. Ismu explained that at the Faculty of Engineering, the main business is in the activities of the educational staff. He tries to assemble an ideal team for the ZI Team at FTUB.

“In this large ZI Team, we try to be ideal, so 50% consists of educational staff and 50% are lecturers,” he said.

Benchmarking Tim ZI FST UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung ke FTUBThe event continued with explanations from WD2 and WD3 regarding the implementation of the Integrity Zone Team at Universitas Brawijaya, particularly in the Faculty of Engineering. They presented various strategies and best practices that have been applied to achieve excellent service.

An interactive question and answer session followed, where participants exchanged information and experiences related to implementing excellent service and SOP. The event closed with a group photo session as a symbol of cooperation and harmonious collaboration between the two institutions.

With this benchmarking activity, it is hoped that both parties can adopt the best practices that have been implemented to improve the quality of service and operations at each institution. (mic)
